When we’re struggling with one of the many situations that life hands us, we can be confident that the help we need to overcome adversity has already been made available. By His grace, God has put everything we need for life in the seed of His Word. Unlike what we find in the world, this seed is incorruptible because it lives forever. When we got born again, we were born of this incorruptible seed, which never fails us.

Jesus used parables involving planting to teach the importance of receiving the Word with a faithful heart. Similar to planting physical seeds, when the seed of the Word is sown into our hearts, it can fall by the wayside, onto stony ground, into thorns, or into good soil. Having faith in what God says to us, and meditating on it daily, causes the seed to grow in our hearts. In the spiritual realm, all the resources we need are waiting for us to receive them by faith.

God’s Word heals us and delivers us from destruction. When we cry out to Him, He rescues us from trouble and distress. When we have financial issues, we can stand on the promise that God will supply all our need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. When we agree with His Word and consider the promises more than the situation, we activate the spiritual law of receiving that governs these promises.

God’s will is for us to succeed in life, but His will doesn’t automatically come to pass. We must first choose to receive His Word by faith. Everything in the physical realm begins in the spiritual realm. When we understand this connection and the law of receiving, we’re empowered to bring God’s Word to pass.

Prayer:

Lord, You gave us what we need to succeed in life through the seed of Your Word. You also sent Your Son to teach us how to access the promises by using the spiritual law of receiving. Thank You for giving us victory on every level. In Jesus’ name, amen.
