The Consequences of Falling from Grace Part 2

Print

Believers are quick to say that we believe and trust in grace. But when our actions don’t back up what we say, we are being insincere. If we truly believe and trust in grace, the evidence will be seen in our actions.  Jesus, Who is Grace, is all sufficiency and everything we need. However, we can fall back into self-effort by trying to add to something that is already perfect. Regardless of your current circumstances, grace will provide all your needs this week. If your need increases, the grace increases. In other words, grace will also provide the “big stuff” too.

The need will never be more than the grace. For instance, sin will never be greater than grace. Romans 5:20 says where sin abounds grace does much more abound. This is not a cliché, but a biblical truth. To some Christians this may seem like a license to sin but that is wrong thinking on their part. No matter what a Christian or non-Christian has done, God’s grace is sufficient and it can set us free from any sin when we depend on Him. This week trust God in every area of your life. Also, know that God loves to be trusted.

Prayer:

Lord, my supply and deliverance have always been in Christ Jesus. So, I come boldly to Your throne of grace right now to receive what has already been made available to me. I thank You that I have all sufficiency at my disposal. I place a demand on the provision needed for this week by trusting completely in You. I declare that every single need is met in abundance and that I will experience the abounding provision of grace in Jesus’ name, amen.
