Daily Devotionals - March 2021

31Mar

March 31

“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13).

Our ability alone can’t enable us to do the things God has called us to do. He’ll never ask us to do something in our own strength; instead, He calls us to complete a task that requires His ability. Tapping into that power enables us to accomplish great things through Him.

March 30

“…Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?” (Acts 26:14).

Just like Saul before he experienced his conversion on the road to Damascus, when we hurt other Christians in any way, we’re hurting Jesus. We’re all part of the body of Christ; therefore, we should walk in love toward one another.
29Mar

March 29

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

God’s love for the world was demonstrated when He sent Jesus to the earth. Jesus’ ministry, death, and resurrection were part of God’s plan to redeem mankind back to Himself. By accepting Jesus, we become a part of God’s family.

March 28

“Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God” (2 Corinthians 7:1).

God has made provision for us to come out of the kingdom of darkness. Our part is to align ourselves with His Word and His will for our lives by separating ourselves from the world’s contaminating influences.
27Mar

March 27

“For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?” (1 Corinthians 3:3).

The evidence of our spiritual maturity is the degree to which we demonstrate either the fruit of the spirit, or the works of the flesh. The carnal person is full of jealousy and strife; however, when we’re walking in the spirit, we demonstrate the love of God.
26Mar

March 26

“And He saw that there was no man and wondered that there was no intercessor [no one to intervene on behalf of truth and right]; therefore His own arm brought Him victory…” (Isaiah 59:16, AMPC).

God is always looking for people willing to intercede for others in prayer. When He puts someone on our heart to pray for, we mustn’t delay; their life and destiny could be on the line.
25Mar

March 25

“Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls” (Matthew 11:29).

We can rest in God when we’re weary. Jesus promises restoration for those who follow Him and do things His way.
24Mar

March 24

“Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved” (Psalm 55:22).

When we go through trials and tribulations, we must stay focused on God. We can turn our cares over to Him and refuse to worry about our situation. He’ll keep us grounded in His love and security when we release our circumstances to Him.
23Mar

March 23

“My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee” (Proverbs 3:1, 2).

God’s Word is the prescription for health, wealth, and total-life prosperity. Keeping His Word involves monitoring what we see with our eyes, what we hear with our ears, and the words that come out of our mouths. Using wisdom in these areas positions us to live long, strong lives.
22Mar

March 22

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right, persevering, and steadfast spirit within me” (Psalm 51:10, AMPC).

Asking God to give us pure hearts and spirits that are always focused on His Word and His will allows Him to answer our prayers and fulfill our requests to become more like Him.
21Mar

March 21

“Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place” (Psalm 66:12).

God wants His people to prosper. He will bring us out of lack and cause us to experience abundance in every area of our lives.
20Mar

March 20

“And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race]” (Mark 16:15, AMPC).

All believers are commissioned by the Lord Jesus to share the Good News of the Gospel with everyone. This involves taking opportunities to be witnesses for Jesus with everyone we meet.
19Mar

March 19

“And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. And they straightway left their nets, and followed him” (Matthew 4:19, 20).

When Jesus called, the disciples heard and answered; they immediately left what was familiar to them for the sake of the ministry. We must ask ourselves if we are willing to give up what’s familiar to us in order to fulfill God’s will for our lives. We mustn’t be afraid to answer the Lord’s call; following Him reaps a great reward.
18Mar

March 18

“And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living” (Mark 12:42-44).

God is looking at our hearts when we give financially. The widow who gave her last bit of money demonstrated more faith in God than the rich people who gave out of their abundance. Her offering cost her something; in light of this, we must examine our giving.
17Mar

March 17

“But I say to you who are listening now to Me: [in order to heed, make it a practice to] love your enemies, treat well (do good to, act nobly toward) those who detest you and pursue you with hatred” (Luke 6:27, AMPC).

God commands us to walk in love toward others. It’s hard to love our enemies, but He expects us to practice loving them. Doing so opens the door to His blessings.
16Mar

March 16

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world” (Titus 2:11, 12).

When we deny our flesh the things it wants, we please God in our walk with Him. Jesus came to set us free from sin and lust so that we can walk in our freedom. We’re no longer subject to our old desires.
15Mar

March 15

“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thessalonians 5:23).

God desires that we experience wholeness in our spirits, our souls, and our bodies. He will make up for whatever is lacking in our lives when we trust in Him and obey His Word.
14Mar

March 14

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6).

God will finish what He started in us. As we obey His Word and His voice, He will lead us right into our destiny.
13Mar

March 13

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20).

As Christians, our old way of life has been demolished; we’re new creatures in Christ Jesus. We must have faith in His ability to sustain us when we’re weak and our flesh wants to take over. We crucify our old desires by submitting them to God’s Word.
12Mar

March 12

“For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:17).

Sin entered the world through Adam, but righteousness was made available to all men through Jesus Christ. Accepting His free gift of righteousness today allows us to enjoy the benefits of God’s Word.
11Mar

March 11

“In a little burst of wrath I hid My face from you for a moment, but with age-enduring love and kindness I will have compassion and mercy on you, says the Lord, your Redeemer” (Isaiah 54:8, AMPC).

God’s grace and mercy constantly hover over us. We can have faith in His love, and in His desire to demonstrate that love in our lives.
10Mar

March 10

“My soul faints with longing for your salvation, but I have put my hope in your word” (Psalm 119:81, NIV).

When we place God’s Word above everything else, we’ll experience all of the benefits of salvation—healing, deliverance, peace, and prosperity—in every area of our lives.
09Mar

March 9

“He is [earnestly] mindful of His covenant and forever it is imprinted on His heart, the word which He commanded and established to a thousand generations” (Psalm 105:8, AMPC).

God will remember the covenant that He made with us. He is faithful; we can count on Him to come through for us and establish His promises in our lives.
08Mar

March 8

“Keep and protect me, O God, for in You I have found refuge, and in You do I put my trust and hide myself” (Psalm 16:1, AMPC).

God’s supernatural protection will overtake us when we hide ourselves in Him. Hiding ourselves means staying rooted and grounded in His Word and being obedient to His commandments. When we do these things, the devil can’t touch us or invade our lives.
07Mar

March 7

“I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will show forth (recount and tell aloud) all Your marvelous works and wonderful deeds!” (Psalm 9:1, AMPC).

Testifying to the goodness of God means telling others about the good things He has done and continues to do. We should make sure we share the goodness of God with people so that they may come to know Him as well.
06Mar

March 6

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8).

In God, there’s no lack or shortage. Our heavenly Father desires to bless us and supply all of our needs. God’s provision covers us and extends to those around us who need assistance as well.
05Mar

March 5

“O Lord, our God, other masters besides You have ruled over us, but we will acknowledge and mention Your name only” (Isaiah 26:13, AMPC).

Before we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, Satan rules our lives. However, as a part of God’s family, we’re no longer in bondage to the devil. We can call on the Lord and expect Him to answer us.
04Mar

March 4

“And the first of all the firstfruits of all kinds, and every offering of all kinds from all your offerings, shall belong to the priests…” (Ezekiel 44:30, AMPC).

When God increases us, we must make sure to give Him the first and best of our harvest. In doing so, we honor Him and open the door for Him to do more in our lives.
03Mar

March 3

“And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry” (Habakkuk 2:2, 3).

When God gives us a vision, we must be sure to write it down so that we can see it and speak it every day. He will bring it to pass in due season.
02Mar

March 2

“But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall” (Malachi 4:2).

It’s God’s desire that we be healed from any oppression or sickness that the enemy tries to put on us. We don’t have to put up with sickness and disease; we can instead call on the name of the Lord and, by faith, lay hold of our divine healing.
01Mar

March 1

“‘I will strengthen them in the LORD and in his name they will live securely,’ declares the LORD” (Zechariah 10:12, NIV).

God strengthens us when we’re weak, and enables us to continue when we don’t feel like we can. All we have to do is trust Him.
