We can only love perfectly through Christ Jesus. When we are in Jesus, God sets us apart from the rest of the common world as His chosen people.

To be holy means to be complete and whole, with nothing missing or broken. When we’re in Christ, He makes us holy.

We freely receive all things only through Christ, and we cannot take Him out of the equation. By His grace, He gives us good things that we don’t deserve.

We are made holy, wise, righteous, and redeemed by Christ living in us. Our holiness is not based on our actions.

To receive peace of mind from God, we must know what to think and what thoughts to avoid. By focusing on biblical truths, we refuse to let the past govern our lives by dictating and controlling our thoughts.

We don’t need to put up with the devil or any of his lies because he is a defeated enemy. When he shows up, we can invoke our authority against him.

Apart from God, we are in no way equipped to succeed, but no one can keep us down when we depend on Him in all situations. We may be persecuted because of our faith but, ultimately, the tables will be turned on our accusers.

Satan will use trouble and adversity to convince us and that we will never succeed, but God tells us otherwise. When we study and meditate on the Word until it sinks down into us, we are actually positioning ourselves to receive what God promised.

We defeat the devil by being joyful and thankful to God. The true joy that gives us strength to live the life of a believer comes from God.

We can’t fight the spiritual battles we face daily on our own; we need God. He wants us to get rid of all the emotional baggage that weighs us down by giving Him all our worry, stress, anxiety, and fears.  

Regardless of our past, God chooses to forget our sins. It is His will to forgive us and, when we’re in Christ, God sees us as innocent.

We must look straight ahead and focus on God’s call on our lives. The enemy wants to divide our focus and distract us enough to look back, but we must not become entangled in our past.

We are not living by the things we used to live by, but by the faith of Jesus Christ. When our own faith is weak, the Word strengthens and establishes it.

The word “now” in this Scripture indicates that we are no longer focusing on what we used to do. We don’t have to let past mistakes or failures hold us back from future successes.

The devil wants to use our past to cause affliction to our future, but we are to focus on what lies ahead, not behind us. God opens doors that were once closed tight, and He makes opportunities when there formerly were none.

We are in spiritual warfare against the enemy, and the Word of God is our greatest and most powerful weapon. By faith, Christians maintain the victory that Jesus died to obtain.

Jesus is the reason for our ability to do anything good. We can’t help but succeed when we attach ourselves to Him.

Before Jesus came, the people were required to be obedient to the letter of the law, regardless of the state of their hearts. After His death and resurrection, we can obey our faith in what grace did for us through the prompting of the Holy Spirit.

Under the Law of Moses, the people lived in fear because of the curse that sin brought. Jesus came to earth, died, and was resurrected to defeat sin forever and demonstrate perfect love for us.

Christ came so that we would never have to suffer lack or insufficiency, but instead enjoy plentiful abundance in our lives. He also came to destroy shame and guilt, and believers never have to be ashamed to be called by His name.

It is God’s will for us to be equipped and enabled to overcome adversity in life, to succeed and thrive, and be witnesses for the Gospel of Grace. Christ living in us makes this possible.

God promises that when the spirit of shame comes against us, trusting in His Word not only removes it but replaces it with twice as much honor from Him. God is our portion, and His will is for us to have everlasting joy in Him.

If we’re not careful, we can succumb to shame over our past mistakes. God sent His Son to permanently take shame away from us, and we have victory over it when we trust in what He did.

Jesus’ death and resurrection bought salvation for us, and His sacrifice impacts our lives right now, when it makes a real difference to us. We can verbally confess our redemption through Christ regardless of what issues we encounter.

The stress, worry, fear, and anxiety the devil throws our way can hurt and even kills us, which is why God tells us to avoid them. Believers have been given authority over these negative emotions.

It’s not God’s will for us to operate in lack or insufficiency. When we trust Him, He will cause prosperity in every area of our lives.

To truly understand the Scriptures the way God intended, we must rely on His Spirit for proper interpretation. Without His guidance, what we read would be gibberish to us.

God gave us the Holy Spirit to teach us the true intent of His Word. This was to avoid confusion, so that we would not have to rely on human interpretations to discern His meaning.

Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross delivered us from the curses that resulted from sin in the garden of Eden, and made all of God’s blessings available to us. This includes the ability to easily accomplish things with which others struggle.

When Jesus died on the cross to take away our sins, this act not only did something to the sin with which we previously struggled, it also did something significant to us. When we accept Him, we become entirely new beings; our old, sinful self is gone.

The Bible is not simply a book that shows us how bad we are. It is the ultimate truth and a reminder of how perfect we are in Christ Jesus regardless of our personal imperfections.
