Grace is God’s way of loving us and showing us mercy and undeserved favor, simply because we trust in Him and receive Jesus Christ. The key to receiving this unmerited grace is believing in His unconditional, unrestricted love for us. A relationship with God gives us access to the kind of grace that fights for us, protects us, and refuses to let us walk away from Him. When we internalize faith in God’s love for us—instead of in our own actions—things we can’t take credit for begin happening. Genuine belief in this gives us rest from worry, anxiety, and our own strivings.
