Annual Ministry Leadership Conference Marks 20 Years

COLLEGE PARK, GA—Pastors from across the country and around the world will gather at World Changers Church International (worldchangers.org) in College Park, GA, from October 3rd through the 5th to learn about both the big picture and the small details of successful ministry. Members of the Creflo Dollar Ministerial Association (CDMA, interactive.creflodollarministries.org) and other guests are expected to take part in “Leading in Excellence,” at the 2017 Ministers and Leaders Conference.

The association was established twenty years ago by WCCI founder and senior pastor, Dr. Creflo Dollar, to share the lessons he learned in building the church to its current 30,000-strong membership.

The ministry leadership conference will feature inspirational teachings and practical sessions that detail best practices for churches and encourage attendees to develop a big vision for what God can do. Among the topics to be covered are leadership, technology, and administration.

“We strive to do things with excellence because we love God and we want to represent Him well to the world,” said Bishop Kenneth Fuller, the senior manager of CDMA. “If the world can do things well, then the church should be even more excellent because we have the Holy Spirit. Doing things with high standards demonstrates respect for people, and is possible for all churches, regardless of their size. You can do things inexpensively but still have a great return in your small investment if you have a spirit of excellence.”

CDMA offers year-round support and resources to its members, which include pastors, lay leaders, and those in other forms of Christian ministry. The organization hosts on-site training in different areas of church life at the World Dome in College Park.

“When I started out in ministry, eager to learn, I could not find the sort of help I was looking for. I promised God that one day I would provide help and encouragement to others just as I had wanted,” said Dr. Dollar. “It has been very rewarding to be able to help so many others in growing their ministry, and to be part of their assignment in extending the kingdom of God.”

During their time at the Ministers and Leaders Conference, participants will have an opportunity to receive prayer and experience worship led by the WCCI Music Ministry. Speakers will include Creflo and Taffi Dollar, senior pastors of WCCI; Bankole Akinmola, founder of World Outreach Church for All Nations in Lawrenceville, GA; Dr. Earl Johnson, overseer and team leader of According to Pattern in Upland, CA; Michael Smith, founder of The Church Group Worldwide in Atlanta, GA; Linda Whitt, pastor of Calvary Resurrection Christian Church in Birmingham, AL; Rick Layton, pastor of Refreshing Point Ministries in Shreveport, LA; and George Matthews II, pastor of New Life Interfaith Ministries in Bessemer, AL.
