Make disciples of all nations. This was the simple instruction that began the Christian faith. Today, Pastors Creflo and Taffi Dollar continue in this charge to spread the Gospel, teaching the Word of God with simplicity and understanding through World Changers Satellite Churches.
Birthed out of the mandate to spread the Gospel to all nations of the world, World Changers Satellite Churches use twenty-first century technology to declare the timeless Word of God. Through local satellite churches, community members can enjoy a local church tailored to meet their needs, as well as the ability to gain practical understanding from the Word of God, as it is ministered from the World Dome of World Changers Church International (WCCI) in College Park, Georgia.
In February 2007, Pastor Creflo Dollar began to publicly share what God had placed on his heart concerning opening 500 satellite churches. He told the congregation of WCCI, "The only way I know to do what God is commanding me to do right now [concerning the satellite churches], is through the [use of] technology that He put on this Earth."
In May 2007, our first satellite church opened its doors in Battle Creek, Michigan. Four additional satellite churches were opened on January 20, 2008 simultaneously. Located in Norcross, Georgia, Villa Rica, Georgia, Brooklyn, New York and Queens, New York, these satellite churches continued with the mission to change the world on a local level.
Between November and December 2009, we opened three additional Satellite Churches in Marietta, Georgia, Houston, Texas and Los Angeles, California. Our Dallas, Texas campus was planted in February 2010, and our Macon, GA campus opened its doors in March 2010. Additional World Changers Satellite Churches were opened in Washington, DC, Indianapolis, Indiana and Cleveland, Ohio in August and September 2010. Our 13th Satellite Church was opened in Kansas City, MO in April 2011. By the end of 2011, we grew to 15 satellite churches with the additional locations in Raleigh, North Carolina and Detroit, Michigan.
In the first quarter of 2012, we kicked off the year by planting a church in Athens, Georgia to serve the needs of members and partners living in east Georgia. In July 2012, our 17th satellite church was opened in Cincinnati, Ohio, on August 12, 2012, we opened our 18th satellite church in
St.Louis, Missouri, making it the second satellite church in Missouri, and on September 9, 2012, we opened our 19th and 20th satellite churches in Columbia, South Carolina, and Charlotte, North Carolina, respectively. Our 21st Satellite Church was opened in Boston, MA. We’re continuing to expand our reach to impact even more lives than ever before.
World Changers Satellite Churches are a part of the WCCI family of organizations, which includes World Changers Church International, World Changers Church New York, Creflo Dollar Ministries, Creflo Dollar Ministerial Association, and our affiliate, Arrow Records.
