FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Does your ministry have a vision?
Yes. Our vision statement reads: "As we proclaim Jesus, the Christ, as Head of the church and the manifested Word of God, our goal is to teach the Word of God with simplicity and understanding so that it may be applied to our everyday lives in a practical and effective manner; thereby being transformed into World Changers—changing our immediate world and all those with whom we come into contact, ultimately making a mark that cannot be erased."
What is a WCCI satellite church?
Our satellite churches are local places of worship in cities and territories that extend beyond the borders of our main campus in College Park, Georgia. We understand that not everyone is able to regularly attend services at our main campus. That is why we are branching out to different cities and territories throughout the world. We like to think of ourselves as being "one church, in many locations."
What can I expect when I attend one of your campuses?
You can expect to be welcomed with open arms. Our ministry is founded on the love of God and the Word of God. At each of our locations you can expect to be loved and taught the Word of God with simplicity and understanding. Our focus is to create:
I noticed that you don't have a satellite church in my area. How can I request for one to be started in my area?
Our goal is to open 500 satellite churches and we are seeking committed people to become members of our satellite campuses. If you are interested in becoming a member, simply register. Your registration tells Dr. Dollar and Pastor Taffi, "Yes; I support what you are doing, and I want to join a satellite church in my area."
After we have collected at least 250 names of people in your city, we will consider opening a campus in your area. So, once you have registered, share the good news with your friends and loved ones. Encourage them to log on to register and show their support in helping us "make a mark that can never be erased!"
Will Dr. Dollar preach at the satellite churches every week?
Actually, no; however, modern technology allows you the awesome opportunity to see and hear Dr. Dollar and Pastor Taffi teach the Word of God with simplicity and understanding by way of LIVE streaming video, or pre-recorded services. Some satellite campuses will be equipped to provide a LIVE broadcast of services as they are being held in the World Dome on our main campus; other locations will enjoy a recently pre-recorded video message.
What is the format for your services?
The general format of services includes: praise and worship, opening prayer, welcome of members and visitors, offering, video (or live) teaching, then altar call. Although each campus will use this basic format, in an effort to be sensitive to the needs of the people who attend, each campus will be unique in its approach to ministering.
When are your services held?
Service times vary between campuses. A complete listing of World Changers Satellite Churches is available.
Will there be a local pastor at your satellite campuses?
Dr. Dollar and Pastor Taffi are the founders and senior pastors of all WCCI satellite churches. A manager has been designated to oversee the day-to-day operations of each campus. That person will facilitate weekly services, conduct weddings, funerals (or homegoings), and much more. The managers have been handpicked; they posses the heart of God and the heart of Dr. Dollar and Pastor Taffi.
If I already belong to a church, can I also become a member of one of your satellite churches?
We prefer that you prayerfully consider being committed to attending, and being a member of one church. We wholeheartedly believe that wherever the Lord would have you to be rooted will be the local place of worship where His blessing will impact your life.
I am currently a member of World Changers Church International, where Pastor Dollar is my pastor; however, I live closer to one of your other campuses. Can I join the satellite church in my area?
Yes you can. We are "one church, in many locations." We realize that many of our members, and regular visitors, travel very far to be taught the Word of God. So we welcome you to attend the campus that best suits you, and makes it convenient for you to enjoy a wonderful worship experience.
What about my kids and teenagers? What do you have for them?
Our ultimate goal is to ensure that all of our satellite campuses provide quality ministry to your children and teens. We believe that it is important to help them grow spiritually with the use of relevant means. As our campuses grow, we will provide ministry for children and teenagers, and do our best to accommodate your needs so that you can enjoy a powerful worship experience.
Once I join one of your satellite campuses, can I serve as a volunteer?
Of course! In fact, there are volunteer opportunities in the area of ushers, greeters, parking lot attendants, and much more. You will be able to serve as a volunteer once you have successfully completed the volunteer training course offered at our campuses. Once you register to become an official member, a list of volunteer opportunities is available online.
