Grace and Spiritual Warfare
Author: Creflo Dollar
Summary
The enemy uses specific strategies to derail Christians. One of these strategies is to get Christians to try to gain right-standing with God through their own efforts. The grace of God is our weapon in spiritual warfare because it enables us to access God’s rest. The devil has no defense against a Believer who trusts in God’s grace.
- Be strong in the Lord and His ability, not your own (Ephesians 6:10-12).
- You cannot defeat the enemy in your own ability.
- The secret to winning in spiritual battle is grace.
- Fight from already being victorious rather than trying to obtain victory. Jesus has already given you the victory.
- God’s ability is His grace.
- Submit yourself to God and the devil will flee (James 4:7).
- A humble man is the one who will submit to the will of God.
- God gives more grace to the humble (1 Peter 5:5-8; Luke 18:10-15).
- God resists the proud but exalts the person who walks in humility.
- The devil is seeking whom he may devour.
- Not every Christian is devourable.
- God’s grace will put the odds in your favor in the midst of spiritual warfare.
- God’s grace is sufficient to sustain you in the midst of every challenge and battle you face (2 Corinthians 12:8, 9).
- The devil can only succeed in your life if you are performance-centered, self-centered, or operating according to the law.
- Legalism will qualify you to be attacked by Satan because it breeds sin-consciousness.
- Sin-consciousness activates condemnation.
- God has been merciful toward all your unrighteousness.
