Entering Into His Grace (Part 2)
Author: Creflo Dollar
Summary
Our struggles in life usually stem from a lack of trust in God. When we find ourselves agitated, stressed, and overwhelmed, we are usually trying to handle things on our own, without God’s guidance. When we find ourselves in a state of frustration, we must examine whether we are really trusting and believing God’s Word or just being religious in our Christian walk.
- Our belief in the Word will be evident in our lives (Hebrews 4:1-10, AMP).
- When we enter into God’s grace, we are no longer trying to make things happen through our own efforts.
- Instead of being confident in our abilities alone, we must become more confident in God’s abilities and what He has already promised us.
- Signs of Unbelief:
- Fear and doubt
- The greatest fear that the enemy tempts us with is the fear that God’s promises will not happen for us.
- Our confidence in God’s love for us will cast out fear.
- Agitation and irritation
- Moodiness and double-mindedness
- Contrary speech
- When we believe God, we will speak His Word.
- Anger
- Fear is usually the root of anger.
- Worry
- Breaking under pressure
- Pressure should not change us or cause our faith to waver.
- When we truly believe God, pressure will only add authenticity to our belief.
- Contradictory actions
- Our actions should line up with what we believe.
- Evidence of Our Faith:
- When we believe God’s Word, our actions will correspond with our belief, and this includes our speech (2 Corinthians 4:13).
- Usually, the words we speak spontaneously are a true indication of what we believe.
