Religious tradition demands we work hard and make long lists of other requirements necessary to be saved. This thinking reveals doubts that faith in Jesus is all we need to get to heaven. The world presents various religions and religious figures as the way to salvation; however, Christ is the only way. Failing to properly divide the Word of God and read it in context leads to wrong-thinking and the belief that our actions can cause us to be sent to hell. Nothing is stronger and more powerful than the finished works of Jesus Christ, which secures our permanent and irrevocable salvation; to think that our own works could undo what Jesus has already done denies this. The issue we must therefore settle does not center on our words or our actions, but on our belief. Deciding to believe in Jesus completely takes us out of our sins, no matter what we do..
